After having seen DD go through a couple of bad falls and wounds on her chin, I am really interested in being prepared and equipped to handle such kind of situations. I want to know what should be the first crucial steps when dealing with bleeding wounds. what to have, what not to do...etc.

Thanks for that MrBeyondtheory.
I am also looking at the crucial do's and don'ts of handling wounds. Whether to try and control a bleeding wound or let it bleed, etc.
DD is so accident-prone that I worry if there's something more going on  She seems to lose her balance even while standing!

subbing...
But for us:
Lavendar EO
TTO
Arnica
soap and water!!!
golden seal salve.
i once used this on an extremely infected area. applied 3 times daily till i noticed that the healing was well on its way and almost done. oh, if open skin, washed well with soap and warm water first.
for me, i had a deep cut and in addition to the cut being infected, a large area around it had become infected.. so i applied the salve on top of the open skin and on top of the skin which was red..
from what I have recently read on the forum, it seems that honey would be good too?
i know the initial post is old.. just figured i could learn here..
