Consider that if people chant "no more war" all the subconscious hears is the word war.
IMO this is a crafty Hegelian Dialectic taking place designed to make us think if we "green up our vaccines" then they become acceptable and safe.
Its still an acceptance of the need for vaccinations.
Its still supporting the very idea of the flawed theory of vaccinations in the first place.
So while many truth seekers praise jenny and jim i think there is more going on here than is apparent.

And here's the bottom line.

in 1985, Barbara Loe Fisher and Jeff Schwartz, who got into bed with the AAP, were told in no uncertain terms that to assist in writing that legislation would result in disaster for the American children. Not just by me, but by Dr Robert Mendelsohn, Dr Anthony J Morris, Mrs Marge Grant, and a whole RAFT of other people.

Congress was against the legislation. President Reagan hated it. All pharmas but one didn't want it. But the now NVIC did, and what BLF wanted was what BLF was going to get.

BLF effectively "divided and ruled" the anti-vaccine movement, by deliberately crafting a message which made her look reasonable and everyone else unreasonable.

She orchestrated a huge media campaign, and mobilised thousands of likewise deluded parents, into rallies and all the other stupid things that Jenny McCarthy is doing.

The success of the enactment of that legislation is solely due to Barbara Loe Fisher, and at the time she was happy to take those accolades, and acknowledged them in the spring 1987 issue of DPT news (Volume 3 No 1). Jenny McCarthy et al, have her to thank for their present predicament.

Her aim too, according to her, ... was safer vaccines and justice. She was told in detailed, and no uncertain terms WHY that would not happen, and that to continue on this path would lead to serious problems in the future.

She got her moment in the sun.

USA children got neither justice or better vaccines, though BLF will say that the acellular vaccine and the new polio vaccines happened solely because of her, and that they are safer. That's a matter of opinion.. What the legislation she drafted with AAP did, was revitalise the vaccine industry and create exactly the situation which exists today. The legacy for BLF was therefore expansion of number base.

now, the same thing is happening, with the same deluded thinking. I.e. we can work with them and make things better, and they will listen.

Rubbish. Why should they listen when CDC, FDA, doctors and manufacturers consider vaccines are already safe, and that side effects are a yawn...????

Here's the bottom line:

1) Safe vaccines are an oxymoron.

2) The best way to put vaccine manufacturers on notice is to return vaccine damage cases to tort low, front up, and have enshrined in every country's law the right of any parent to philosophical objection.

In fact, vaccination should be a procedure which a parent must actively opt into, not try to get an exemption to get out of.

WHEN every vaccine manufacturers knows that a child, who is vaccine damaged, will result in a court case, and when every parent knows they have the right to say no, then and only then will vaccine manufacturers realise there is more to the issue than politics and profits.

And yes, .... vaccines are highly profitable.

Just look at the killing the swine flu vaccine manufacturers are going to make for an infection which is pathetically mild, in comparison with ordinary flu, if you believe the medical people that is....

I admit I don't know a lot about Jenny McCarthy. But I have been assuming, perhaps naively, that at least some in the "Green Our Vaccines" movement are really using it as a gateway drug of sorts, to get people thinking about vaccine safety and skipping some or perhaps many of the vaccines on the current schedule. It's a slippery slope. You stop saying "Yes sir" to your doctor and actually think about the issue of vaccination, and actually look into safety, and pretty soon you're thinking about these diseases, and really, do they even need to be avoided? Pretty soon after that you're realizing there are a lot of ways to treat these diseases if and when they visit your family, and vaccine safety really isn't that important anymore, because vaccines just aren't needed.

I think for many people, deciding against all vaccines, forever and ever, is the equivalent of throwing themselves off a cliff. Just too scary. No idea where you will end up, but certainty that you are abandoning forever modern medicine and all of its benefits. So they cling to the possibility that it is possible to have it all. Banish disease and have healthy babies who "benefit" from vaccines.
