Has anyone read this? Is it worth getting? As I'm going to be studying my childbirth education diploma next year I thought it would be wise to start my library early, but funds being rather scarce I don't want to get something that's not worth it.
Thanks!

Can you get a copy from the library to see if it is any good? Maybe via interlibrary loan?

I have a copy but unfortunately haven't had a chance to sit down and read it yet. I bought it on the basis on great reviews from others.
MV's suggestion is a good one. I use my local library often and only purchase books I tend to refer to on a regular basis.

Yes, good idea about the library, thanks.

I'm a doula and am also studying CBE. I would thoroughly recommend it. It has served me well as I've lent it to so many clients

Deesalie, would you be able to write a review for this thread, for this book?

Eeeepp!! Yes I could, so long as you don't need it in an awful hurry!
I'll add it to the list of things to do :)

Well, given that this forum is for book reviews, and you're the only one on the thread that has read the book, ... you're it :D Just whenever, but sooner rather than later :D

Deesalie have you read this book? Dr Sarah Buckley is a contributor to a new magazine that I've just subscribed to - The Natural Parent. Would be interested in reading her book.
