When I log in I get told I don't have permissions to view the page, but when I click on the forum tag, I get let in anyway. :confused:

Yes, I've gotten the same thing. I assumed that I just had access to the forum and not whatever the other thing is that I don't have access to. Hard to be concerned about not being able to get into something when I'm not sure it exists!

The same for me when I used my old link to get in, but I've updated my link now and I get straight to the forum page.

If it is doing that, delete your cookies as well as update the link you are using. The old cookies are probably on your computer still!
