Pr Bernard Greenberg testified before Congress that statistics had been used inappropriately to determine the effectiveness of the polio vaccine -- and that the vaccine actually increased the incidence of polio (1962) [ http://www.sph.unc.edu/carolina_public_health_magazine/dr._bernard_g._greenberg_a_visionary_leader_8910_8 289.html (http://www.sph.unc.edu/carolina_public_health_magazine/dr._bernard_g._greenberg_a_visionary_leader_8910_8 289.html]) ] That was May 1962 in the US Congressional Hearings on HR10541 [http://www.ageofautism.com/2009/05/behind-the-scenes-at-the-doctors-with-jenny-mccarthy.html ]
Two questions : were these hearings specificaly held on the SALK vaccine ( and I guess in the aftermath of the cutter incident ) ?
Did these hearings have consequences ? ( for exemple the choice of the sabin vax ) ?
( has someone read these hearings ?)
