Poor cats. :(
Irradiation of food coming from overseas is a real concern. There is no way to tell what has been irradiated and what has not as there is no labeling requirement.
In any case it makes no sense to me that feeding dogs and cats highly processed essentially 'dead' food can possibly be better for them than a raw whole foods diet like BARF.

Blergh! Thankfully our cat loves her raw meat.
Irradiation is concerning. I'm still amazed that some herbal tea companies use irradiated herbs :coco:

If radiation breaks down important "bonds", enough to cause problems with cats, what does it do in food that humans eat.

As far as i know if a herb or food product is marked as organic it cannot by law have been irradiated.
