Ha, I just can't go accident free in my house. I dropped a very large and heavy printer on my pinky toe. I'm about 100% sure it's broken. Can't do much other than ice then splint it, since it didn't compound. Somehow, I think dh will be more upset over the 2 large dents in the wood floor than my toe :) I'm not going to the er, I feel very much like vomiting and I can't move my toe, nor feel it, so I'm pretty sure it's cracked at least. That's how my arm was when I did break it, and at the time I thought I sprained it-lol, until 6hrs later my bil came home and told me it was quite broken. And very broken it was, I needed surgery.
Sigh, just another day here. Will see in the morning once the swelling goes down if I can move it yet.

 I broke my little toe right foot, two months before we were married, and my big toe right foot, when the children had whooping cough. What made it worse, is that when I sat on a chair, I used to sit on that foot. Very comfortable. but not with a broken toe.
I got the nickname Harry, as a result.

It still hurts some if I bump it, or the big dog steps on it :) Of course the other day I was moving the dog crate, I bumped it on the couch leg and later on realized I scraped the top and almost tore the nail off. Would have matched my nail on my big toe on the other foot :) I dropped a drill battery on that one so the nail is healing.

My solution for breaks is comfrey compresses and homeopathic comfrey. This is only for breaks which have NOT been pinned, screwed, and plated!
