Thought you'd like to see this.

The owner of the website asked me to circulate this information through my contacts. I told her that I had reservations about people putting names and photos of unvaccinated children on the internet, but she feels that if we have convictions about something, we should be prepared to do it.

I said that I thought it was potentially a breach of privacy in terms of the children, since they can't consent to their faces and details being on internet.

She disagrees.

So there you go. I've put up both sides of our discussion for you.

She would like as many stories as possible on her website.

The choice is yours.

I won't, because at this point, one of my kids requires anonymity. I've talked to the other, and he'd also prefer anonymity.

I would also have to say that she sent me the link in response to this statement on my blog:

"Every time anyone – a doctor, or parent does nothing, or remains silent, (even to your own children) when you could have done or said something, – even just to have a reaction reported – then you are loading more ammunition into CARM’s or North & South artillery. You silence or inaction, gives vaccine defenders their ultimate dismissal of your position." - Hilary Butler

Which is turning what I said about "parents doing nothing" on my blog back at me (http://www.beyondconformity.org.nz/_blog/Hilary's_Desk/post/There_are_no_vaccine_reactions/).

This isn't the sort of "doing nothing" I had in mind.

I am PERSONALLY prepared to say why I don't vaccinate my children and do so quite publically when required, BUT having looked at her site I wouldnt do it. For me its because I am dont want to use my childrens faces for something I beleive in. Its not their fault they are not vaccinated so its not up to them to havr their faces public if that makes sense. But in saying that I am off to have a good read of that site.

I agree with the questions thing. Maybe laid out a bit different/more personal from the families would help? Is she looking for feedback from those who don't want to put pics up? Or feedback in general? It's an interesting idea, some educational links might be helpful though some place.
