Hiya,

I have a girlfriend that suffers from recurring UTI's, anyone have any good remedies or ideas on how to help or fix this. I have recommended she see a homeopath to get a constitutional remedy as a starting point.

Cheers

My mother in law has used cranberry extract and D-mannose with pretty good success. A homeopathic consultation is always a good idea.

What is her diet like? Does she consume probiotic foods eg. kefir, homemade yogurt etc? Does she drink lots of water on a regular basis? Were antibiotics used for her previous UTI's? That often seems to create a recurrent cycle especially with certain bacteria.

Quickening-I was going to ask the same thing about the abx :) Some people do not see the correlation. I had a uti last year for the first time. I was prescribed abx but did not want them. My mw said I could take Cranberry extract and also drink straight cranberry juice, along with lots of water to keep thinks moving. Worked for me.
