Hello all,
I have three children, all of whom are un-vaccinated, despite their father being a medical scientist who majored in microbiology :eek:. Still am not sure exactly how I pulled that one off but there you have it. My children are aged 7yo to 4mo.
My sister started me on this journey to actually learning more about vaccines (her children aren't vaxed either) which brought my mother into the discussion.. she was worried and shocked that sis wasn't vaxing her children and concerned I was following suite - I was reading Vera Schnieder and Barbara Loe Fisher (hope I have the author names right... still suffering from baby brain). Openly discussing it all with her led her to think back to my childhood and find my health book. Which gave her an OMG moment when she realised I had been vaccinated just shortly before I ended up in hospital with severe convulsions and a mysterious illness. I was 9mo and had just had some vaccinations. Short version of this story is that mum is surprisingly supportive of us now.
