So some questions.

Whats your favourite movie?

"the day of the pig". the american version is called "The Advocate" and the twenty minutes they cut out of it, renders it really  and  because the cuts are crucial to the colour of the fabric...

What CD do you listen too most often? Hard question. I listen to a lot...

the one that affects me most though, is the 100-voice Scottish Men's Chorus, recorded in 1956. The choir was put together from workers in a coal mine, none of whom had any training, but the sang a lot in the mines. they gathered together in the Tabernacle off Saint George's Cross in the heart of Glasgow and Jim Vaus recorded them. The recording languished for 40 years, because they were misplaced. When they were found, the tape was retrieved using modern technology and the results are very satisfying to me.

Do you have pets?hens and a part time baby sitting service for son's dog.

What sort of car do you drive? 1974 Hillman hunter.

What came first, the chicken or the egg? Neither.

Whats your favourite movie?

I dunno really. I'm terribly boring, I don't have a TV & I haven't been to the movies since before dd#2 was born. I never liked those boring holywood predicatable biopics but prefer the more alternative & foreign movies.

What CD do you listen too most often? Ditto on the boringness here ;) The rats ate the CD player whilst it was stored in the container, the insurance wouldn't pay out, the CDs all got scratched. These days I usually get to listen to kids story Cds while I am driving around or the radio if I get really lucky :giggle:

Do you have pets?
9 cats, 2 horses & about 20 chooks & a very lonely Indian Runner duck. 7 of the cats are temporary residents as they are babies & the horses are really the kids.

What sort of car do you drive?
a BMW

What came first, the chicken or the egg?
No clues there :D

would you wear odd socks?
I am not big on socks at the best of times but have been known to wear odd socks if no one else can see them.

Are my children adorable :giggle:?
Probably easily as adorable as mine :)

Whats for dinner at your house tonight?
Rig with maori potatoes & salad probably. & maybe blackcurrant & honey pie if I can be bothered cooking it. It is very hot right now.

Are my children adorable ?

That depends on whether they can beat me in an arm wrestle...

Whats for dinner at your house tonight?

Beggars Chicken at the IL's farm. Interesting story behind this dish. Back in the "olden days", peasants used to steal chickens, wrap them in a dough & salt mix to bake in a campfire style oven. They wrapped it in the dough so no one would smell the deliciousness of chicken cooking & catch them!

The recipe's on The Cook & the Chef website

And now DH wants me to go and help him

Do you think I should?

Depends on what he's doing? If it's household chores, forget it.

Been playing with sepia on the digicam. hehe This (http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm274/sbstump/2009011503.jpg) is her 'I'm getting impatient!' look. Love it. :D

Poor her, daddy and I have the same ears, so she got a double whammy.

Whats your favourite movie?
This often changes. I do have my "hearts been broken" movies and those are Hope Floats and the Notebook.
What CD do you listen too most often?
I don't often listen to music lately. Even my iPod has been mostly audio books. I even purchased a new MP3 player so I can download audio books from the library. (not compatible with an iPod.)
Do you have pets?
Do my five kids count? That said, with 5 kids I've decided I have my hands full. Now, if I had a reasonable amount of land, things would be different in the outdoor realm that is.
What sort of car do you drive?
I drive a 1997 Dodge mini-van as my normal ride. To be economical and because it needs a tiny bit of work, I've been driving a 2000 Ford Contour.
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
I'm going to confidently say egg. This is the first time I've thought this through but let's look at it scientifically. Based on what we know about evolution different species evolve from others. So, the first chicken was not born to a chicken but to whatever it evolved from, therefore it's mommy laid an egg before a chicken technically existed.
would you wear odd socks?
Are my children adorable :giggle:?
Oh, yes, very adorable.
Whats for dinner at your house tonight?

Whats your favourite movie?

I don't believe in playing favorites, but I really really like Miller's Crossing

What CD do you listen too most often?

I listen to so much stuff, recently anything by the Magnetic Fields has been played by me alot. DS has been getting into opera, in particular the Invisible City of Kitezh. Can you tell we're into music? If I can call myself a buff of anything, music is it.

Do you have pets?

No. When we move, I promised my DS I would consider getting a dog.

What sort of car do you drive?

Don't have one, no plans to get one. Don't even have a bike.

What came first, the chicken or the egg?

Pass

would you wear odd socks?

No. I am slightly OCD about socks.

Are my children adorable :giggle:?

Yeah, but I think all children are adorable. Does that cheapen it?

Whats for dinner at your house tonight?

Dunno, and I ain't cooking it! I hope not leftovers, though :p

And now DH wants me to go and help him

Do you think I should?

That depends, what do you get out of it? ;)
