Taking matters into my own hands, along with my bookstore gift card, I'm researching real nutrition. Before finding C2PP and this board, my nutritional knowledge wasn't much more than what I was taught in elementary school. I know I'm not alone because I see this same amount of knowledge in many others. In fact, when I start talking about specific nutritional need in diets, I watch eyes glaze over and brains shut down.
MT has been the greatest help but I am aware that many of the others here know a great deal of what I want to know.
Currently, I have put the following books in my wish list:
Pediatric Nutrition by Susan S. Baker
Nutrition Almanac by John D. Kirschmann
American Dietetic Association Complete Food and Nutrition Guide by Roberta Larson Duyff
Any input on these choices would be great.
But let me know what your favorite nutrition books are.
Finally, I need some book selections on gardening to support my nutritional lifestyle change.
