Our DS is unfortunately vaccinated up to date, but wont be getting anymore.
The next one he is meant to get is chicken pox at 18 months.
We just got a letter from centrelink about checking our records to pay us the maternity immunisation allowance.
Anyway, do we have to get a CO form signed just for that vaccine or will we get the immunisation allowance anyway?
thanks :D

Hopefully an Australian mod will answer your question, as I have no idea :D

I suspect that you might have to get a CO now... but someone will know...

There are now two installments paid for Maternity Immunisation allowance, first one at 18-24 months, second one 4-5 years, specifically to cover the 4-year-old boosters. So probably makes sense to sign the CO form as it will cover more than just one vaccine.

Otherwise - yes, this payment is for either fully vaccinated or exempted.

I also asked on JB, and it appears you do have to get one, cos this vaccine is "compulsory" now.
Sucks, I bet its going to be a pain in the butt, but oh well.
