What is cayenne good for, apart from improving circulation?

I've used it as a pain killer and anti-inflammatory before.

Good for packing wounds to stop bleeding. Also good first aid for someone having a heart attack.

The Dorset Naga reckoned to be the worlds hottest pepper.

I could not believe how hot Scotch Bonnet peppers were compared to ordinary capsicum (cayenne) but this one seems of the scale.

I havn't looked this up yet, so I wonder if any of you know how compatible cayenne is with breastfeeding.
I do add some to our food all the time but really small amounts since me and some of my kids like our food "mildly hot". my husband and 2 sons love their food so hot and spicey that they just add it on their plates...!!!
One of my questions is, if some of the hot taste will come through? (the way eating a lot of garlic makes the milk a little garlicy:D)
and how much would be acceptable?

Also good first aid for someone having a heart attack.

I can confirm this from experience. I've used cayenne for at least the past decade and given it to dogs my family owned with great results. One particular dog had an enlarged heart and I could tell he was on the verge of a heart attack. Sadly, I had nothing else to help him with. I kept administering cayenne until my mother--his owner--returned home and then we discussed what to do from there. There would have been no way to get him help for another 36 hours at least, and there was no point in letting him continue to hang on suffering. So I stopped the cayenne and he passed away a few hours later. It was very sad.

ETA: I eat a lot of cayenne and my girl is 15 1/2 months old--still nursing.
