This really does work for the organic grower once you get over the shock and its free.
I had my best crop of tomatoes, cucumber and runner beans last year when i tried it.

Funny!!
I got my 11 year old boy to wee on our lemon tree just yesterday. He was delighted!!

It would be so much more convenient, if I didn't have to sit down and collect, and then wash containers...

PS don't tell anyone you're doing it, because technically, it's illegal in this country.

Is it really illegal to wee on your plants? How bizarre.
I've asked DP to go out and wee on the citrus trees before, seeing as it's much more convenient for him to do it than it is for me. He thought I must have gone a bit loopy. :giggle:

when I did a paper on medieval dyeing techniques, it was all about human urine...
dyers and tanners would have barrels out front and ask passers by to contribute
one recipe I found asked for urine from someone who was drunk and another called for urine from boys before adolescence
of course they were really looking for ammonia

Yeah.
But apparently, it's a "victorian" era law, designed to clean up suburban environments...

A bit easier for men i have to grant you. LOL
Don't use the urine on your plants neat as it can burn them but dilute it to around 1 part urine to 9 parts water. The morning urine after sleeping is supposed to be the best to use.

No-one is going to stop me weeing on my plants! I do it often as I hate the idea of sending all that nitrogen, potassium, ammonia etc. out to sea, when it should be recycled back to the land.
the fact that it is good for plants is a bonus.
