I am in India for a small break. Just yesterday we were having a chat about how DDT poisoning can be classified as polio and how polio is no longer found in the western hemisphere and how DDT is banned there. Lo behold today AM two workers came around my neighborhood spraying DDT all over the place. They did not spare the children's playarea either! I was fuming and mad! To top it off, minutes later, two ladies came at the door for the Oral polio campaign. Said DD needed to get her OPV! I was like WTF?! You want to hurt us one way or the other. I said she NO she's not getting any. The ladies insisted but I said NO WAY!

My father asks me don't the doctors know about DDT and VAPP? Why would they hurt children like this? I said maybe they are just too brainwashed to believe anything they do can harm others. Makes me so wild

How horrifying. A friend of mine grew up in Madras and remembers as a small child the DDT being sprayed around regularly in the village. Truly terrible. :(

a guy I knew went to Patagonia once to collect penguin eggs (you are not allowed to remove birds from the wild but are allowed to take eggs). NONE of the eggs hatched. They had all been poisoned by DDTs. Apparently America doesnt use DDTs but still make it and sell it to South America who use it. Pretty sad when you think of the far reaching consequences of it :(

ugh! what was their reasoning behind spraying it?

My friend's experience was that it was used to kill lice so actually sprayed onto the children. Words fail me.

OMG Janet, words fail me too.........

If they can stop a penguin embryo from developing I wonder what they do to people?

Apparently, DDT is used to control the spread of malaria here in India. But for lice??? OMG! That's just so beyond me. Where does that happen? Never heard of that happening in India. Only for mosquitoes here.

It was happening in Pondicherry(sp?) outside of what was then called Madras, in the early 1970s. For malaria too but also sprayed direct onto children thought to have lice.

What a shame you didn't get some photos of it at the time Janet.

Would have loved to have added that to my collection...

We don't even buy rice from India or anything else because of their spraying policy.

Personally I have come to believe they* spray to keep the fear of "Polio" alive, which is most likely caused by the spraying, as a way to keep selling the Polio vaccine. (We don't want to go back to the Iron Lung, is another way to keep the sheeple vaccinating for polio.)

*they = big pharma who is totally corrupt and does not give a shit about kids or anyone else. It is all about world control. NWO

Janet, that is really pathetic! I thought you were referring to some other country. Pondicherry?! I am sick beyond words.

Those workers who were spraying the DDT were not wearing any protective gear/masks! Imagine what their lives must be like :(
