this is the one for 16 - 18 year olds: girls old enough to give consent for themselves.

It's a very worrying presentation, because it makes no mention of the use of smears to detect early signs, AND if you compare the information on this DVD with the information on the smear programme, which states that cervical cancer is usually a cancer of older people, very slow moving etc... the messages the various arms of the MOH are sending out is totally contradictory.

So this DVD isn't the one which is analysed above.

This site by the way, was set up by the Auckland District Health Board, with the Auckland Uni-Tech students concentrating on bebo, facebook, competitions and all the normal sorts of dumbed down girlie fluff that really has nothing to do with accurate factual information. But then, that's the way immunisation information is going these days.
