Hello...

Do any of you have any ideas about how to go about treating thrush/possible UTI without antibiotics?

TIA

There's lots of things you can do to treat thrust naturally. Firstly you need to look at your diet. You'll be specifically looking at doing an anti candida diet ie eliminating sugars (including fruit), refined white flour products, yeasts & moulds and really focusing on wholefoods.

Secondly, there's a whole host of herbs to treat candida. Things like garlic and pau d'arco are excellent. Probiotics are essential (not in yoghurt as most yoghurts are laden with sugar) but rather in a capsule form. This also gives you a therapeutic dose. If you find a natural sugar free yoghurt you can apply this directly to the vagina.

For UTI then you need to source Cranberry. Again, I'd look for capsules over the juice because of the sugar content. Uva Ursi is another another good UT herb as is Corn Silk tea. Also high doses of Vit C

Hope this helps :)
