I live in middle England as far from the sea as can be. However, my local pub alleges to serve 'local' Plaice - and the Cumberland sausages allegedly contain Viagra.

I live in New Zealand, and would live as close to the sea as possible, if I could, or on a mountain. The negatives of both being that either restricts gardening options somewhat.

I live in New Zealand.

Weekends and holidays in a small costal village in Hawkes Bay. We have a sea view, a river running through the back of the property to bathe/wash/get water from, lots of fruit trees and native birds, and a vege/herb patch, and views of the hills behind us.

The rest of the time (weekdays, workdays) I live in Cuba Street, one of the main city streets in Wellington in an apartment with my two best friends overlooking the City.

I live in Canada, so far the only one here I think. :)

I'm in a city and live in a townhouse complex, so no real room for gardening unfortunately. I'm about 4hrs or so from the Rocky Mountains though, and they're beautiful there. We have some decent lakes around too if we drive, I don't think our scenery around here is anything like you guys have though. NZ and Australia have always been my dream vacation spots ever since I saw a picture of the color of the sea there.

Sounds lovely :) I spent a winter in New Jersey, not quite as lovely as Vermont but still, I got to enjoy a white January.

I'm a NZer, but for the next few years will be living in Brisbane for my DH's work. We've been here three months so far, now starting to enjoy the adventure.

An Aussie here - living in the very beautiful Northern Rivers of NSW. Before we moved here we lived in Brisbane. We still have strong ties to West End, but we call this place home now.

another midwesterner here. I am in MI, where we are having lots of snow this winter. Although, I am currently visiting DH's family in TX, where it is just cloudy and humid. I think it should be nicer tomorrow. Would love to be in the mountains.

I am a bit of a combo - born UK - schooled in South Africa and now with my Israeli husband in Israel..... longing for a sea or mountain view.... missing my parents home in Cape Town, which has both.

NZ - no mountains, no seaview (though it's only just down the road), smack bang in the middle of suburbia.
