I migth have missed this in the forum - so please point me in the right direction if I have.
I was wondering about having a collection of recipes from members - from food to medicines. I am slowly building up my repertoire of both vegan and and meat recipes.... and would love to get into making jams/pickles/preserves. I reckon there are some women/men here who have amazing recipes and much knowledge to share for newbies like me. I also would love to share recipes for herbs, oils, bath concoctions, soaps, etc.

Would you like us to make forums for those things?
Any idea on classification breakdown?
I would need a list of names, but I have to "weight" them so that they come out in alphabetical order...

I was thinking it would be good to have a section that is just recipes for medicines, foods etc so that when I need to know how to make up thieves oil,or grandmothers flu remedy or tasty winter soup, I don't need to read through threads trying to find the recipe. Although maybe a search would make that possible?
I was also thinking that with people from so many parts of the world sharing together on this forum, there must be a huge range of yummy foods for families. And I always like a new recipe :)
I do not know how this could be possible, or if others even would use it?

I would love recipes too. Wading thru 600 post threads looking for a good recipe is a pain. Not sure how to organise it into something tidy & workable tho'.

A recipe forum is a great idea :)
In terms of indexing the recipe threads a thread stickied to the top of the forum with links to the individual recipes would do the trick. Or you could just use the search function ;)
