This is what they give old people in homes so they don't have to toilet them...and they get through the night without wetting themselves.
My son was given this also post kidney surgery to stop bladder spasms.
Did someone prescribe this for your daughter as a toileting aid??

yep. the paed. To "teach her bladder to hold more urine"
If I knew it would work 100% I would think about it, and thats a BIG think, but TBH, I think he is just clutching at straws and I dont think thats one I want to clutch.
I have heard about it before. I have heard people use it as a school camp stop the kid wetting the bed for a week sort of thing. BUt the script says 3/12 so I am guessing he wants her to take 2.5mg however many times daily for 3 months and that just doesnt sit right in my gut. Considering the only "tests" they have done are ultra sound and xray and they dont actually know whats wrong.
Does my head in. Maybe it will just be a time thing.

How does your daughter feel about her own incontinence?

She doesnt care. She doesnt get embarrassed, doesnt cry about it. So I guess until she does she isnt going to try. She tries because we ask her too and because she cares that we care but not because she does.

Then I guess until it impacts on her life, in a way she doesn't like, she won't make the effort... :(
